Macau Route Planner

Macao Public Transit data is now available on Google Maps!

Macao has joined the ranks of hundreds of other metropolitan areas that have partnered with Google to display public transportation data on Google Maps.

Reolian at the origin of this project provides this new service for Macao Public Transport users in collaboration with Google. After providing information of the full network on its website, general information at stations, and a full network map inside its buses, Reolian continues to dedicate itself to improve Macao public transport accessibility.

This project aims at attracting both local residents who are not yet familiarized with the bus network and visiting tourists to use local public transport by providing useful information.

As the service utilizes “Google Maps”, the service supports more than 40 languages and is compatible with most Smartphones (Android, IPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, S60 and other Java enabled phones) and computer systems.

How does it work?

To access public transport information from a desktop, users should visit maps.google.com, click "Get Directions", and enter origin and destination locations. Then click the icon depicting a bus to obtain public transport directions and easily viewable bus routes on the map. Users can also tap into GPS on a mobile device and get directions from their current location to any given destination.

Mobile users can use the Google Maps application on their phone or browse to http://maps.google.com in their phone's browser.

Google Maps integrates Macao Public Transport data, including 61 current bus routes and over 350 bus stops. The data will be updated regularly by Reolian. Users can contact the Reolian Customer Service Hotline at 2877 7888 to provide feedback of the service or to report any inaccurate information.

Further information on how to use Google Maps can be found either on this Website or www.google.com/transit.

Regarding the collaboration, Marissa Ng, Strategic Partner Manager at Google Hong Kong, expressed that “As part of Google’s commitment to develop useful public-private partnerships, we are pleased to welcome Reolian to Google Maps. This partnership shows Reolian’s commitment to innovating, serving their riders, and attracting new riders.”
