Bus to Bus Interchange Discount allows you to combine two bus lines as if they were considered as one line.
Details of discount offer:
1. This discount only applies to Macau Pass holder or to Discount Card holder (Senior, Disable, or Student). Passengers must use the same card for the connecting journeys to enjoy the discount.
2.This discount is only valid for one interchange.
3. The interchange discount is applicable within every public transport bus in Macau.
4. To be eligible to the interchange discount the second trip has to be made within the following timeframe:
- 45 minutes if the two trips departures are done within the same district
- 60 minutes If the two trips departures are done within two different districts
5. Please note that no interchange discounts will be applied when returning to one district
- Example: Macau-(1st trip) ->Taipa -(2nd trip)-> Macau. Returns are considered as two different trips.
How is the discount fare calculated?
For Macau Pass
1/ The remaining bus stops of both 1st and 2nd trip remain in the same district: The 2nd trip will be free.
Total cost MOP $2
2/ Some remaining bus stops of either your 1st or 2nd trip are located within a second districts:
- If your first trip is charged MOP $2 your second trip will be charged 0.5MOP.
- If your first trip is charged MOP $2.5 your second trip will be free
Total cost MOP $2.5
3/ Some remaining bus stops of either your 1st or 2nd trip are located within a third districts: (Macau <-> Taipa<-> Coloane):
- If your first trip is charged MOP $2 your second trip will be charged 1MOP.
- If your first trip is charged MOP $2.5 your second trip will be charged 0.5MOP
- If your first trip is charged MOP $3 your second trip will be free
Total cost MOP $3
For Senior / Disable / Student card
The second trip is free whatever the destination or the line.
